Buffalo Trace Kentucky Straight Bourbon invites bourbon lovers to slow down and savor the journey with Perfectly Untamed, a once-in-a-lifetime tasting experience set deep in the perfectly untamed wilds of Wyoming, home to what may be the most remote and exclusive tasting room in America.

Created in partnership with Buffalo Field Campaign, a nonprofit dedicated to protecting America’s last wild bison and preserving their habitat in the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem, Perfectly Untamed celebrates patience, preservation, and the untamed spirit of the American frontier.

Custom-built on the open plains, the glass-walled tasting room’s floor-to-ceiling windows offer sweeping views of wild buffalo roaming freely just beyond. Far removed from the noise and hustle of the modern world, guests are invited to slow down and savor the unmistakable taste of tradition, crafted with care, patience, and purpose.

How It Works

• Reserve Your Spot: Booking a reservation secures your place on the list for this exclusive Spring 2026 experience. Bookings open Thursday, November 13 at 10 a.m. EST.
• Stay Tuned: Once your reservation is complete, you’ll receive follow-up communication as the exact location and timing are finalized in the coming months (slated for late spring/early summer 2026).
• Support Conservation: After reservations are confirmed, a $500 donation to Buffalo Field Campaign is required to finalize participation and support their vital work protecting America’s last wild bison. Guests will receive instructions to submit this donation directly to Buffalo Field Campaign when final details are confirmed.

• Sweeping views of Wyoming’s bison country from a custom-built glass-walled tasting room
• A journey through the history of Buffalo Trace Distillery, celebrating the bourbon icons who shaped the industry
• A $1,000 travel stipend per guest to assist with accommodations and travel planning

Inside this glass-walled tasting room, guests will discover a fully private bar and expert-led tastings in a space that reflects Buffalo Trace’s enduring spirit, rooted in craftsmanship, perseverance, and respect for the untamed.

• All guests must be 21+ with valid government-issued photo ID.
• Each reservation and donation of $500 covers two guests (the primary registrant and their chosen companion). Reservations are limited to one per person.
• Tastings are private with no other guests present during your session.
• Space is extremely limited and reservations are non-transferable.
• Participants are responsible for booking their own travel and lodging using the provided stipend.
